Honorarium-Based Publishing

We welcome writers, educators, journalists, and creators interested in contributing to Lamb & Light Publishing™.

Contributors selected for publication may receive a modest honorarium in appreciation of their work. Honorariums currently range from $10 to $25 CAD, depending on the nature, length, and scope of the submission.

What We Accept

Lamb & Light Publishing™ welcomes original creative and educational works for consideration under our honorarium-based publication model. We accept submissions that are unpublished and solely the work of the submitting author.

As a Christian publishing company, we especially welcome works that reflect faith-based, values-driven, or inspirational themes. However, we also consider high-quality general fiction, creative nonfiction, and educational content, including but not limited to the categories below:

Submission Requirements

All submitted work must:

  • be 100% original

  • be fully completed and edited

  • include only properly licensed materials where applicable

All submitted work must not:

  • have been previously published in any form

  • already have an existing ISBN assignment

  • contain copyrighted, plagiarized, or stolen content

For security and privacy reasons, electronic submissions are accepted only as direct PDF attachments. We do not open or review external download links, cloud-storage links, compressed files, executable files, password-protected files, macro-enabled documents, or file formats other than PDF. Submissions containing prohibited file types or security risks may be deleted unread.

  • No. Submission does not guarantee acceptance.

    Lamb & Light Publishing™ reviews all manuscripts at its discretion and reserves the right to decline any submission without providing a reason.

  • No. You do not need an agent to submit your work to Lamb and Light Publishing™.

    We accept direct submissions from writers and creators.

  • Yes. All contributors are required to include a cover or query letter with their submission to Lamb and Light Publishing™.

    What your letter should include:

    • Your full name and preferred professional name (if different)

    • Your email address and preferred contact information

    • The title of your submission

    • The intended audience

    • The type of work (e.g., blog article, devotional, story, etc.)

    • Word count

    • A very short summary of your submission (what it is about)

    • Any notes on the inspiration, message, or purpose of your work

    • A very brief introduction about yourself and your background in writing, publishing, ministry, or related experience

    Optional (but encouraged):

    • Website, blog, or portfolio links

    • Social media profiles or professional pages

  • All payments are processed through PayPal or Squarespace.

  • Contributors selected for publication may receive a modest honorarium in appreciation of their work. Most honorarium offerings currently range from $10 to $25, depending on the nature and scope of the submission.

  • No. Lamb & Light Publishing™ does not offer royalties for accepted submissions. Instead, selected contributors receive a one-time honorarium in appreciation of their work.

  • No. All submissions must be original and unpublished.

  • We ask that manuscripts submitted to Lamb & Light Publishing™ not be submitted elsewhere during the first 30 days of consideration.

    If Lamb & Light Publishing™ declines your work, you are free to submit it elsewhere.

  • No. Lamb & Light Publishing™ can only use, edit, publish, reproduce, or acquire rights to your work if:

    • both parties accept the contract, and

    • payment is made

    Until then, all rights remain with you.

  • If Lamb and Light Publishing™ accepts your work for publication under an honorarium arrangement, you grant Lamb and Light Publishing™ exclusive publishing rights as outlined in the contract accepted by both parties.
