About Us
Meet Michele
This isn’t just a business—it’s my calling.
It all began with a simple question from a curious child: “How do you know God is real?” That question sparked a calling in me—to create easy-to-understand, faith-based resources that help both children and adults explore Christianity.
Hi, I’m Michele Gowanlock, the founder and writer behind Lamb and Light Publishing™. I am a Canadian teacher, wife, mother, and Christian storybook enthusiast. I hold an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Classical Studies, a Bachelor of Education in the Primary and Junior division, and additional qualifications in Literacy and Religious Education.
With over a decade of experience teaching in public and private schools, I’ve had the privilege of guiding students through their most meaningful spiritual questions. These moments inspired me to begin writing Scripture-centred storybooks, articles, and educational resources that present biblical truth in a clear, engaging, and approachable way.
My writing is shaped by my love for God, my passion for teaching, and my desire to equip individuals, families, and educators with tools that foster spiritual growth and biblical literacy.
Whether you are a fellow Christian seeking to deepen your faith, a parent supporting your child’s spiritual development, an educator looking for faith-based resources, or someone simply curious about Christianity—welcome. I’m so glad you’re here.
